Jerry Arnott
Jerry joined the Department for Work and Pensions in February 2007 as Director of Organisational Capability. As the largest Government Department (110,000 staff) he is responsible for the organisational and people development agenda across the DWP.
Prior to this role, Jerry spent a long career mainly in the private sector having run his own consulting and coaching business together with permanent employment with a number of large multinational companies. During the 1990s he held a number of senior HR roles with Lloyds TSB and National Australia Bank followed by a move into the Telecoms where he spent 5 years with Cable and Wireless ending up as VP, Global Learning and Development. His last corporate role was with the National Grid Group as Director of Organisation and Management Development.
Jerry holds a BSc in Behavioural Science from Aston and a MA in Management Learning from Lancaster.
